All foliage and surrounding areas were covered for protection from paint work. House was cleaned with low pressure power washer to remove surface dirt. Wooden storms were removed and repaired, broken glass panes replaced and all windows re-glazed. All surfaces to be painted were repaired where necessary, filled, sanded, cleaned and primed. Front porch columns, railings, facias, decorative brackets and related trim were stripped to bare wood. All were primed with two coats of oil base primer, filled where necessary, sanded, cleaned and re-primed. Color samples were put on house and coach house.
