When client purchased this condo, its interior walls were papered with maroon flock and grass cloth wall coverings. Trim was either painted in dark colors or stained dark brown with several coats of varnish. Client expressed desire for a bold modern look.
All flooring and furnishings were covered for protection from paint work. Walls were stripped, repaired where necessary, skim coated, cleaned, sealed with moisture barrier primer and finished with two coats of inerior paint. All previously painted and stained/varnished wood trim was stripped where necessary, filled, sanded, cleaned, primed and finished with two coats of low lustre enamel. Colors were chosen based on light sources and new furnishings.
